Said he seemed to be walking fine between games, per Buster Oleny report
Goold will report a tear of some sort.

Yeah, I'll take Buster's report as overly optimistic until proven otherwise.

I will predict Derrick Goold report saying he will be out for weeks .
Truth lies somewhere in the middle.

Walking with a limp and walking without a limp is different too.
For sure the Cardinals will be cautious before putting him behind the plate.. a lot of squatting ..putting knee on ground , up and down movements.
Today though , these guys get state of the art treatments by the trainers.

With Herrera most likely unable to go in game 2, why the F is Contreras at DH and not 1B? If something happens to Pages and you have to use Contreras behind the plate you lose your DH! Not smart.

People walk fine with some ACL injuries. Let's hope it's nothing.

Olney is reporting that Herrera will be going to the IL. We will have to make a 40 man roster move, unless they plan on putting Contreras back behind the plate. None of the catchers in our system are on the 40 man roster so someone will probably be DFA soon.

Cards have suffered many tears today.

Oli's iPad didn't prompt him on that.

Mark Mcgwire used to take a single AB in the top of the 1st inning then get subbed out when he was too hurt to "play". And that was before the DH existed.

Isn't Thompson out for quite a long time? Could be a guy to put on the 60 day.
