Been there. Paid big bucks for tickets. Terrible view of field. Bought burger. Bun was soggy. Terrible place. Green monster is so little league.

Something needs to be done.

Boston uses the wall to their advantage. Why did they allow the Yankees to build a new stadium with the right field fence only about 300 feet from home plate. I bet if someone else tried to do that, the commissioner would stop them.

Most baseball fans who go to Fenway love it. Mostly fans who love tradition and history. I’ve been there, it is a unique experience and you can feel the history of it. The prices are high due to limited seating.

I’ve been to Fenway multiple, multiple times and have never had a bad view of the field or a seat that is any different in comfort than any other stadium.

The OP probably got scammed into buying the seat behind the pole and got a beer poured on him for being a schmuck.

I just heard from a Red Sox fan who thinks the Cards should move their stadium across the river.

WTF? Fenway is classic. But our personal tastes aside. The Red Sox fans love it. The Red Sox organization love it. Why would you support MLB coming in and making them replace it with something else? Isn't that rather authoritarian?

That stadium is beloved.

Ruth pitched there…

It’s holy baseball ground.

Nailed it. If the op was serious he has some mental health issues. Come to think of it, if he isn’t serious he probably also has some mental health issues.

Sorry to tweak so many nostalgic memories but if they can build a new Yankee stadium they can build one in Boston and add to that a new Wrigley.

Went to the old Yankee stadium. As leaving the game a guy inside the gate was selling heroin to a very anxious crowd of people. Now that’s nostalgia.

This year for my 70th birthday I told Mrs. 141 that I wanted to go to Boston to see a couple games at Fenway, then maybe slide down to Baltimore while we were on the coast. I’m a lucky guy, she loves baseball and loves going to games in other cities.
