I'm good with that but we need to know if WC is just done at C. It isn't a great scenario to have the DH be the only backup C.

I also can't get behind both IH and PP being in the lineup every day.

I'm surprised they haven't tried him at 1B or an outfield spot yet. Pages is more than marginally better defensively. Herrera should be in the lineup every day.

I was saying it in the offseason he needs to play at least 140. Catch him or DH him but make sure his bat is in there just about every game.

This needs to happen eventually, I think. I want to say I heard that they were working Herrera out at first base some during practices at the end of last year.

In my mind, he should probably be the heir apparent to Willson at first.

No catcher plays every day, but Pages once a week should be the norm. Not more. He's not a defensive wizard, and he's never going to come close to Herrera at the plate.

And he should DH when not catching. Its not like Burly is an MVP candidate with the bat

He should not be removed for defensive purposes before the 9th. And then only if he isn't due to hit next half inning plus.

Few teams are gonna run in the late innings of a close game. If they do, so be it. His bat is too valuable not to have in there.

Well he just hit 3 bombs, which means it is an absolute guarantee Olli will bench him.

For some reason he hates it when players get hot.

herrera seems to call a game and do fine in that regard..his throwing is an issue but pages aint johnny bench behind the plate and herrera is a big time threat at bat

and his homers were not cheap,real bombs
