It’s like a portfolio. Some stocks are up, some are down. And the trick here as there is to have more up.

11 sectors in the market. Rarely are all up or down.
9 sectors in the lineup. Rarely ...........
So we weight them, put the best up top

Somehow I meant to say that. Nice injection.

Before he slipped into the season opening doldrums, at least Contreras showed us this spring he can be an offensive force this year. Winn has 4 singles in 68 AB’s to this point including spring training. That is an extended slumber.

Contreras and Winn will hit, but for now they look lost at the plate. It’s going to take a while to get them out of these slumps. Right now they are killing the offense.

I remain confident that they will come around soon. Meanwhile I am very pleased with the terrific starts by Nootbaar, Walker, Arenado, Scott II, and Gorman. It's only 5 games sports fans - 157 left.

I have faith WillyC will get on track, not so much w/Winn facing the Sophomore jinx as pitchers had a full offseason to find his weaknesses.

Looking at baseball savant, his bat profile isn’t terrible.

Whiff% is up, but his chase% is down. His Squared up and sweet spots are down.

But his walk% is up, his EV and bat speeds are up, as well as his hard hit% and barrel% both being better.

Willson Contreras is another story though, his entire bat profile is pretty much far worse.

It’s all still very SSS. Hopefully they both right the ship results wise.

Saw that too, Winn's strong hit rate & barrel rate are up and he's got solid exit velo too.

BUT his swing and miss rate is way up.

Too much launch angle, he needs to stop thinking he's a power hitter and go back to spraying hits to the opposite field.

WillyC is is out of kilter, but I have confidence he'll figure it out.
