If I miss the game I just log on CT, look at the first several posts. If they're mostly negtitive, I know instantly we lost.

You should be a Marlins fan if you want a fanbase that doesn't care about losses

Exactly. Folks would rather read "Don't you think the Cardinals are great?" "I do!" "So do I!" (??)

Some seriously sick puppies amongst our fan base.

Unable to cope with anything other than accolades bestowed upon the organization.

Understandable coming from children. Cept, we do not have any children here. Simply mentally and emotionally immature individuals lashing out at anyone and everyone that doesn't toe their party line.

A few years ago, I missed the game 'and watched' it on the Game Thread...it was amazing....excitement, euphoria, drama, second guessing and eventually Nirvana...the Cards won but the lineup construction was horrible!

Obviously no one expects that, but it is a little silly to decide the team is going to win a dozen more games than you thought because they sweep a series early or that they are worse than expected because they lose in extra innings.

They’ve played well for 4 games. They didn’t get timely hitting at all last night and they got a lot of it against the Twins. Over the course of a season it’s going to be somewhere between the two.

Yea but it’s equally silly to not expect people to talk went wrong with the game in losses. What are people supposed to do only talk about the good things in games they lose and ignore and not talk about the bad things that happened? That’s silly. It games like that that people act like don’t matter that were winnable and cards gave them away that add up over the year to an 83 win season like last season and missing the playoffs

Actually, it’s the bashers that far outnumber the positive posters, and they turn their bashing from BDW, Mo, Marmol, etc. to bashing positive fans if positive fans dare post anything positive.

I have no problem with talking about what went wrong and right with the game. Very few do that. For a lot of people here it’s all roses no matter how good or bad the team plays for others it’s doom and gloom no matter how well they play. Reminds me of Trumpers and Liberals. Zero middle ground.
