Cards face Hendricks tomorrow

in case you didn't catch that on the telecast. I swear the only way this guy is still in MLB is because his stats against the Cards bring his numbers down into the respectable range.

Sure hope those first 3 against the Twins weren't a mirage because tonight was a book I've read many, many times.

I mean the offense still had 11 hits today. Noot, Baker, Walker, Scott all had 2 hits a piece. Donovan/nado added another hit. They have 2 guys that are really slumping offensively right now and one of them has been our best hitter the last 2 years. Pitching was for the most part good enough to win.

We will have games like tonight still. All teams do.

Hey, if it's an outlier and not the norm, so be it. That was the problem last year. Cards had more than enough men on base to win baseball games. It was the RISP that was our downfall, because it became the norm, and not an outlier.

I think we had one decent game against Hendricks last season if memory serves. But I believe he shut us down for the majority of the season.

He's long overdue to be on the losing end of a slug fest.

The reason why other teams hit Hendricks is they game plan for him

Move up in box, crowd the plate, he ain’t throwing it by you or jamming you at 87 mph, his best pitch is the changeup

Cards hitters in the past did not adjust.

Let’s see if Brown and hitters adjust, that’s how you beat Hendricks.

Lol. Quit stating what anyone who follows baseball knows...CT is like a hyper sensitive, overly emotional, hormonal teen.

Most thought we'd win last night, then lose to the former scrubbie.

Win tonight instead and last night is a memory.

Everybody else pounds Hendricks

No excuse for the Cards not to

At least Brown will game plan for him

Ward the previous hitting coach seemed to be a simpleton of sorts, never saw him gather hitters together in dugout

Very interested to see if their approach has changed vs Hendricks

+1
Maybe the reason is we DON’T have a history of facing him?
Wait a minute....never mind!

I counted 22 chases outside strike zone in 6 innings against Hendricks

Unreal lack of plate discipline against a guy who threw 60% changeups and tops out at 87
