for now, the Wind is Right to Left 8-11mph....
If Baker hits one deep to LF, it might get push towards the line and around the pole for a HR.

Donovan career OPS vs LHP starters: .642
Gorman career OPS vs LHP starters: .761
Maybe Gorman plays tomorrow and Wednesday.

Hope so. However, Gorman's got no one to blame but himself for this situation. He swung right through every last drop of trust he'd built up last season.
A very weak ST didn't help either. But man I hope he can keep hitting like he started show in 23. He's got MVP power if he can recognize pitches and stop swinging at everything.

It's understandable to get guys into the lineup for some at bats. But why does it need to cause multiple order changes? Slide Baker in at 6th and leave Donovan at 3. Mo, his strategist, and lil oli just can't control their weird need to mix things up.

Thats actually not accurate.
From baseball reference if you read
"vs Starter batting splits are for the entire game when the starter was LH or RH. These splits include any subsequent plate appearances against a reliever regardless of their throwing hand"
Its just how the player hit in that game even vs all relievers after. Its a very misleading and useless split. It actually include all at bats from just righthanded putchers if the player did not start the game, but was later subbed into the game vs right handed relievers
They say its a proxy for older players cuz they lack some play by play date from players who played during early 1900s. Etc

Barely a breeze today duce, Big Boy will have to supply his own power tonight.

Baker’s first game this year, bats third. Good matchup v. LHP, but…

The good thing is its the Angels their line up isnt exactly great so maybe if Mikolas doesnt let Trout beat him he can have a decent game and go 6 innings with just 1 or 2 runs allowed

Survival from 2x through the lineup would be a success. Don't let him attempt the third time through. I'd love it if he could go 5 while giving up 2 runs. If offered I'd take that right now.

Good news he's hasn't given up a HR to any of the current Halos.
Trout 3/9
Ward 2/3
