Mikey Madison ("Anora") Hosted SNL....and Scored!

Deep down, I wondered if Best Actress Oscar winner Mikey Madison considered these SNL sketches she was so good in as auditions for her next movie roles, showing a fine range with a nice comedic touch. If you saw QT's excellent "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", Madison was the Manson Girl who got blowtorched in the swimming pool by Leonardo DiCaprio.
This Saturday on SNL: Host Jack Black with musical guests Elton John w' Brandi Carlisle. "CBS Sunday Morning" on March 30th did a wonderful profile of them working together for their new album. John, as you know, now has severe vision issues, and word came out this week that Roger Daltrey calls himself both blind and deaf now. Interestingly, asked what he wants as his gravestone epitaph, John replied "He was a great dad and husband. Nothing about the music."
Rough golden years for aging pop/rock stars: John; Daltrey; Pete Townshend (deaf); and Huey Lewis, who suddenly on stage heard a screeching, internal cacophony and never has recovered his hearing. Linda Ronstadt can't sing at all anymore. Also, Phil Collins needs a stool on stage because of a nerve condition that prevents him from standing for long.
