Traffic control around Busch Stadium

What is going on?
The Cardinals are one of the few reasons people come to St. Louis. It doesn't appear the City of St. Louis wants to protect it's best assets.
I went to the game yesterday. While I was walking to the Stadium, cars were running red lights with pedestrians in crosswalks, and motorcycles were riding wheelies down the street. One motorcycle lost control and ended up on the sidewalk. Another motorcycle riding a wheelie came to a screeching stop with pedestrians in the crosswalk. He was just a couple of feet from hitting a kid.
You have to think twice before attending a game, especially with kids.

That's sad to hear. I remember the day when police were horseback patrolling the area. I guess maybe budget restraints are a problem.

Call the governor. He runs the police department now.

Not quite yet, but soon. Hope it makes a difference.

Weird. Was at home opener and then yesterday parked near the ballpark and walked over to enterprise. Saw none of this mad max behavior.

If his account is true those weren't trivial offenses. People could have died.

I have been down town many times and seen people on four wheelers doing wheelies in front of the justice center. They need to crack down on that (bleep).
On a separate note that justice center is the most corrupt place. They let a disabled person lie on the floor in his own (bleep) for days. Just last week they had their 19th person die in that justice center since 2020. They have sprayed mace on people in their cells and let them stew in it. They have locked them up in cells without allowing them out for exercise for days on end. They stopped lawyers from seeing their clients. They stopped visitations. They have not let the oversight committee in for years. The judges let certain ones go and then others they order a psych evaluation using their people because they will not let anyone in there and they know for their people to do the psych evaluation they will hold them for over a year to get to see one. These are people that have been charged with a crime but not found guilty and are awaiting sentencing. The judges are corrupt and will let some peoples serious crimes go and others that they don't like they will sentence them to get a psych eval that they know will be over one year wait. I am for tough on crime but St.louis court system and justice center is more corrupt than any. It is interesting to see how they can get by with what they do.
St. Louis city is run horribly.
At the end of last year, St. Louis Public Radio reported more people had died at the City Justice Center than had been publicly reported. There has been 19 deaths since 2020.
