Reacher

Has anyone seen it?
I kept telling myself that I wanted to turn on opening day to watch the DeWitt's get booed, but Reacher is really good.
This was the first Opening Day that I didn't bother to watch.

I read one of Lee Child's early Reacher books on which the protagonist is described as 6'6" 240 lb total badass who, if in a good mood, would only break 2-3 of your bones in a fight. Imagine my amusement when the first movie came out starring tiny Tom Cruise. Only casting more absurd was Adam Sandler as the former MVP of the NFL, Paul Crewes in The Longest Yard.

Yeah, a lot of people thought that was ridiculous.
However, they got the casting right in the TV show. In season three, there’s this dude who’s even bigger than he is … and kicks his (donkey) a couple of times. Buuuuut, Reacher always gets the upper hand in the end.

Just finished season 3, it was great. I love Reacher, even though after a day man he has to stink...ha! Dude wears the same clothes all week!
Olivier Richters played Paulie. Dude is 7'2". It looked like a vide game when he was walking with other people. He looked like a giant from GOT.

I loved this season. It may have been the best of the three.
And bwahahahaha. I’ve thought the same thing about Reacher wearing the same clothes.
I looked up Oliver Richters and he’s the world’s tallest professional bodybuilder.

I dunno, fellahs. Its mainly a series of set-ups of obnoxious bullyboys for him to tee off on. And since he looks like a roid monkey, its not that big a surprise. ymmv.

Dude is a monster. Again, we know Reacher always wins, so not really a spoiler. But after Reacher took him out, the exposition line was hilarious. Explaining to the dead guy how he got got, classic
