Then he should tear it up there and get bumped to AAA in a month. His development won't be hurt by facing AA pitchers and neither will his path to the bigs.

Sad a top draft pick at age 23, can't make, what many, on CT, think is a bad Cards team. Not even the AAA team

Anybody with any sense doesn't have a problem with. No downside at all.

maybe but easier to push him to AAA in 2-4 weeks instead of sending him the other way ---- if he makes them push him.

[/quote]It looks to be a bad Cardinal team but we're not talking about some colossus here but a guy who slugged less than his OBP last year, never a good mark for a hitter, and that was against A pitching. Give him time. If he's for real, he'll be pushed up a level, maybe two.
