Roster moves

Just reported on KMOX that McGreevy, Fermin and Barrero were assigned to Memphis. Roster down to 27. Scott AND Siani still in the mix. My question? Who is the backup SS? Saggese, Fermin and Barrero all have been sent down. Does this mean they are looking for a backup SS outside the organization?

It means if Winn gets hurt mid-game, then Donovan moves to SS and they bring up someone the following day.

I agree that Donovan is NOT an ideal SS backup.
Winn plays every day and would never be replaced for defense.
If he goes down then Donovan finishes one game.
If Winn needs IL then it’s Fermín/Barrero on the next plane.
