The Orioles announced that they’ve signed Kyle Gibson to a one-year contract. Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports that it’s a $5.25MM guarantee. The Rowley Sports Management client can earn another $1.525MM in performance bonuses, Rosenthal adds. Baltimore placed Kyle Bradish, who underwent elbow surgery last June, on the 60-day injured list to open a roster spot.

Yeah, for a team like the Orioles, that expects to compete, it's worth a prospect or 2 to trade for guy

Thanks. I guess greeting cards and the network aren't enough to keep afloat. We have no MLB ornaments so next year I might get the Pujols.

What have they won?

Orioles need a veteran to settle the team and get them to learn how to prepare in the playoffs. They are on the cusp of something great, but without the proper veterans they will not move forward in the playoffs. We will see if Gibson is one of those guys.
