Episodes 1 & 2 out last night. So far, so good. The fight scenes are excellent as the Netflix shows. They brought that same stunt director back.
Charlie Cox:
Taking it to the next level. When he broke the dirty cop’s arm and slammed the other one into the fridge … the rage on his face was unreal.
Killing Foggy right off the bat. Wow. Glad he came back though.
I hope we don’t get too much Kingpin marriage counseling plot points.

Eh, it’s kind of interesting, but I more like the dynamic showing us his “negotiations” with city leaders and listening to the douchey influencer on his staff.
Vincent D'Onofrio, awesome as always.

It was the best superhero franchise/show of all the Netflix ones, and was always consistent. I love Daredevil, and think Charlie Cox has done so much with him, and was a terrific casting choice. The first two episodes were really good. You can get an idea of what they are building.
Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin, is IMO one of the best villains in the entire universe. A lot of that has to do with D'Onofrio, who with a look can change an entire scene. He's so good in that role.
Plus, we get Tony Soprano's kid, which is nice. Looking forward to the Punisher coming in and what direction they take season 1. It has already been renewed for season 2.

I think the original plan was to have one 18-episode season. Then after the rewrites they split it up into two 9 episode seasons, or something like that. I’m glad they did the rewrite, though, it sounds like it connects the show better to the previous seasons than it would have.
I’m also enjoying Soprano’s kid … when I called him douchey, definitely was talking about the character, not the actor. He plays the role of the slimy, kiss up, young staff member well.
