I think...and I'm not an insider, but I think Peete will got to AA with him. Maybe Hernandez to back up Rainiel. I think Campos goes to AAA. Paige is probably cut...or back to the Developmental List for the umpteenth time this year. Ugueto may go to AAA or cut, if they think they can get Honeyman back from the IL .Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑30 Jul 2026 21:29 pmI hope youre right he certainly earned it Good to see a couple of those from palm beach last season stepping forward him pena Cho I like honeyman if he can stay healthycraviduce wrote: ↑30 Jul 2026 21:19 pmyeah he does....I think he gets promoted to start next week. Pena will go to Peoria, and probably take Mejia with him...or Mejia will be cut, I can't see that happening, they spent $2million on him in 2021...but he hasn't gotten out of Palm Beach yet.

7 wins in a row for Springfield.... 2 game lead on Tulsa, but more importantly, a 6 game cushion on Arkansas. Tulsa won the 1st half, so they don't matter. Springfield needs only finish ahead of Arkansas, NW Arkansas, and Wichita to win the 2nd Half...and make the playoffs for the 4th straight year. They NEED bullpen help in the worst way...hopefully, some of the Peoria guys who have been horrible come up and get good all of the sudden
this team's pitching isn't the heralded pitching staff from last year, but they're coming into their own....the addition of Hjerpe and Aita have helped tremendously...and finally letting go of Edwin Nunez out of the BP has done wonders.
