Big game at home vs. Texas Saturday night.
May not be great for Kenpom but it sure looks good on paper.

I thought that was the most composed Mizzou seemed late in a close game all season. They had games where they came away with a win but it was rather chaotic. I thought the last 90-120 seconds they looked confident and in control. Even with the horrendous timeout call.

Without him they're down by 10+. JMO
No argument from me. Like I said, I don’t watch much. My opinion is when he drives to the basket, he’s out of control.
My opinion might be based on the fact that I seen him do it two or three times and I think he does it all the time. No argument here.

TO has made great strides over the season, execution for sure but he seems to pick and choose on his moves a lot better as well.

I think his taking over at point is going to make us much less likely to get stuck on a number. He is much better at getting to the paint and being in a position to finish. Ant can get there but almost relies on calls when there.

just saw the replay. they didn't have possession. bogus time out
How about the foul on Mitch where the guy had his foot on him?
That's Pat Adams, he always seems to do a lousy job, can't believe he keeps his job.
I understand the Pat Adams negatives, ... but the NCAA doesn't agree. They've tagged him as one of their best officials. He must be calling the games the way they want him to.

From Google: Basketball referee Pat Adams has worked in the NCAA Final Four multiple times, including as an official for the 2012, 2014, and 2015 national semifinals. He was also selected for the 2021 Final Four, marking his fifth appearance, and acted as an alternate in 2010.

Looks like there have been a couple of dry spells. Maybe this year is one of them.

He may be an awesome official, but I have rarely seen that side of him when Miz is playing. He was probably the most fair last night that I have ever seen. Usually, there is a few head shaking calls or non-calls with him.

I was surprised the home team didn't get the call on the final play, I don't think it was foul but was expecting the call.

Agreed. Too often the out of control flail is rewarded in college basketball in that situation.

I did like Pat Adams firing the ball back at Mitchell when he tried to buy extra time to set up the press break by passing it to him. Adams took the extraordinary step of warning Mizzou after that one. Mizzou is my team but I hate that basketball has allowed that to become a thing for guys to use as a crutch, both when the press and the press breakers do that. The next time someone from Mizzou did that he just stepped out of the way and they had to go fetch the ball out of the corner while he was counting.

How Pat Adams awarded a TO to Texas A&M without possession of the ball is just more evidence of how bad he is. I don't think I've ever seen that before. Agee failed to corral the rebound, and the ball was loose when the TO was called.

Thank goodness no foul was called on their final desperation shot that was blocked. All's well that ends well.

And Joe Lunardi now has Missouri in.

It must be sad to watch an exciting game like that, and all you guys can think about is "when is the other shoe going to drop?"

Hope Pat Adams retires or be forbidden from refereeing Mizzou games.

I watched the replay, and it looked like it was the other official, who was on the baseline, who made the gesture to give A&M the timeout.
I didn't see if Adams did or not.
