This. Very bad extension for an average (and declining) player. No more “he started at center” excuses this year. He’s just bad. Got lucky that CP55 and Jake bailed him out on his bad decision to try and pass back to Jake. He won’t break 50 points this year.

Mailloux doesn’t belong in NHL. He is horrible. Gave up two breakaways due to poor defense, then gives up horrible pass. Need to send him down to learn defense.
