Walker brings them back to down only 1 run, then Fernandez walks the leadoff batter on 4 pitches.

You can’t make this stuff up.

Walker gives back one of the runs he drove in.

Now 7 for his last 25 (.280) with only 4 strikeouts. Slightly above league average. Of course, he's done this before where he looks decent for a week or two and then comes tumbling back to mediocrity. And one of those weeks was right before this stretch, when he had 5 strikeouts in the 6 abs before.

Maybe the looming threat of AAA is finally lighting a fire under him...

He's a butcher in the outfield, another reason he should start next year at Memphis.

When does this team get tired of Busch teeing off on them. The pitch he just hit for his triple??? was center cut. I’m not walking him like I’m afraid of him, he’s just not going to be allowed to stand there with zero concerns. Someone do something different.

This has to change
Let's face it, this team is hapless. Can't it for average or power, slow afoot, poor baserunners, and we are short on pitching. Other than that,we're pretty good.
Some think we’re just a couple starters away from contention.
They’re wrong.
The same collection of know nothings that have been posting here for years and we know who they are.

They should find another forum. Maybe something they actually have a clue with.
They’re probably the same ones who were saying this is a 90+ win team and that signing Gibson and Lynn would get them
Into the post season last year lol

Nootbaar watching strike 3.

He is determined to fall short of 50 RBI for the 4th year in a row.

Complete 4-year waste.

Just like Carlson, DeJong, O’Neill, Gorman.

I thought they would win 72, but have done better than I expected. There is a continuing increase in the quality spread of the haves and have nots in baseball. Lockout needed badly, to get a cap and floor for spending. Among other things.

1st round bust.
19th overall pick in 2018 draft.
PCA...
... 19th overall pick in 2020 draft.
1st round "jewel," but rejected by the Mets in favor of Javier Báez, Trevor Williams and cash.
In other words, the Mets PAID the Cubs to take PCA. Pretty lopsided trade in retrospect. Could be as bad a trade for the Mets as the Lou Brock trade was for the Cubs...

I have read that they are not using Liberatore any more this season.
