Hahahaha! Anyone else in MLB would have legged out that single. Oh boy, another epic loss on its way.
If I never see Walker in a Cardinal uniform again after this season, I'll be a happier fan.
another loss on the way ? Wow, do you give up easily ? This team may have more losses than wins but haven't you realized by now that they never give up despite the mishaps.
A lesser team after yesterday's bitter defeat could have lay down and not tried today and got blown out for the sweep. They played hard today !

I wish they would have lost.
78 wins or 75 wins makes zero difference.
All they can win now is get a better draft position.
Don't go Cardinals!
So if you were a player on the Cardinals , you would be playing to lose the games ?? and reason for a better draft pick .
Go tell that to the players in the locker room and see what they tell you ... It wouldn't be very nice !

Wow, bunch of major league (bleep) on here today. Glad I was driving to Branson and refused the radio.

breaking; Cardinals are NOT swept in consecutive series !
Cardinals have not been swept by Brewers in Milwaukee since 2011 ,, keep the string intact
My Brewer friend in Wis. sent me a text at start of game today with emoji of broom
I replied Oh , are you planning to sweep out your garage today ?
He laughed .. Then at end of game he wasn't saying a thing !

They're was already a 90% chance nothing miraculous would happen, but with the Mets' win today that's up to 95%. HAD the Cards won yesterday, I'd be paying attention and rooting for them to try and get that last WC, having been only 3gb.
But they s*ck. The only thing wins do now is hurt their draft position and give Oli something more to lean on if they manage to reach .500 or better, possibly prolonging the torture of his reign.
I'm cheering for them to lose every game until the season's over. Last night was the final straw for me. I thought I was borderline delusional having not given up last night. Anyone still hoping for wins, ehhhh, I don't know... nothing good can come from wins at this point.

Branson? That's like Las Vegas if Ned Flanders ran it.

Players are looking out for themselves. Can't expect them to think strategically about the organizations future.
Which brings us to the real problem---the penny pinching FOs effort to save a few dollars by giving out no-trade clauses to every free agent this side of San Antonio. They tied their own hands preventing them from making deals last winter and at the deadline. Now we're stuck with Gray, Arenado, et. al..
The chickens have come home to roost. This team can't even tank without screwing it up.
