Sorry , my phone calculator acting up . Could you please tell me what 0 for 25 works out as a batting average ? Thanks, 82 !
it means it gives him a chance to 1-26 with a walkoff

Is there a long list of young .200 hitters who turned into productive hitters over the age of 25?
Hrm. Justin turner?

Edmond blew up at 25

Then I cheated

Appreciate the attempt. Looking at the careers of all the guys mentioned. It appears they all had decent BAs early as full-time players and then bloomed into all-stars. Walker has left himself a lot of room for improvement.

and speaking of.....walk-off for Walker!
Missed it to see holiday Homer off Yamamoto with 2 outs in 9th. Spoiling the no hitter

And that is the hitter the team needs him to be.
Hit the ball hard, straight, and in play.
Forget about the angle.

Man, is Walker just incapable of hitting liners that go over the infield's head?

I sincerely hope this instills some confidence in him but after seeing the replay it also was almost a triple play.

By no way am I complaining, I just hope it doesn't get in his head that that could have been a game-ending lineout.

Oh well, I'm probably overthinking it. lol Regardless, nice to finally see him jump on the first pitch. I literally can't even remember the last time I saw him swing at the first pitch. Of course, I don't have the stomach to watch most of these recent games.
