Dusty Blake just has to be fired. The walks are losing them so many ballgames.

Gray is not an ace
Most starting pitchers are way over paid now. Starters need to go six or morning innings. Maybe owners to use that on paying big bucks to starters

Starting pitches are highly paid due to limited supply and high demand. Gray has been a consistent starter for 13 years with a 3.57 ERA Not a ton of pitchers get that many years.
At age 35, he has declined as years taken its toll.
Not easy to find guys that have a variety of pitched that can go even 5 or 6 innings every 5th day. Most pitchers cannot and become relievers .

Agreed but salaries cannot continue to increase when starters throw less innings. Lower the velocity and pitch more to location like they used to. Saves the arm some wear and tear as well. Try to pitch 6 plus.

And Chaim Bloom, Rob Cerfolio, and Matt Pierpont are all taking notes
On all these relievers. A few of these guys will be gone for next year.

Same dimension as Yankee Stadium . Short RF down the line.
