ERA for the season coming into tonight was under 4.00 which is very respectable.slimjay63801 wrote: ↑12 Aug 2025 20:39 pmGotta go more than 4 to be a starter. And an ERA below 5 would be preferable.

Rockies ended their streak of 220 games without a shutout on July 23 against the Cardinals.
Rockies will only have to wait 17 games to get another shutout...also against the Cardinals.

I support him, but he's not been very good lately. The lack of run support doesnt help but he only went 4 innings. This team needs starters that can go at least close to 6 innings.Cusecards wrote: ↑12 Aug 2025 20:43 pmERA for the season coming into tonight was under 4.00 which is very respectable.slimjay63801 wrote: ↑12 Aug 2025 20:39 pmGotta go more than 4 to be a starter. Matt Liberatore, age 25, has pitched 121 innings this year.
Re: GDT : Cards vs. Rockies (8/12) ~ 6:45pm CDT
Libby is way beyond his inning totals from the last 2 seasons.
He gets a pass the rest of the year.

No kidding. 1 run for Mikolas last night, and 0 for Liberatore tonight. You would think the Rockies had a bunch of aces on the mound..........Cusecards wrote: ↑12 Aug 2025 20:43 pmERA for the season coming into tonight was under 4.00 which is very respectable.slimjay63801 wrote: ↑12 Aug 2025 20:39 pmGotta go more than 4 to be a starter. I thought Freeland wasn’t any good. I guess the turning point was Contreras’ DP in the first inning. Freeland just cruising .

Cardinals have a terrible habit of playing to the level of the competition.todd-parker wrote: ↑12 Aug 2025 20:45 pm Rockies ended their streak of 220 games without a shutout on July 23 against the Cardinals.

Direct indictment of The Marmot's lack of leadership skills.

Ok. He's not that young. They jerked him around like this dumb[ash] organization always does with players. He gets through 4 against the Rockies? Ok. Ok. Ill give him til he's 27... Rolling my eyes now...12xu wrote: ↑12 Aug 2025 20:49 pmNo kidding. 1 run for Mikolas last night, and 0 for Liberatore tonight.
