For an 8th round pick, Ixan Henderson seems to be quite a find, his AA #'s are pretty good. Although prospect rankings have Roby, Hence, & Hjerpe higher, Ixan could perhaps reach the majors rotation sooner than those guys, because of their injuries/surgeries.

Ixan could...I want him to go deeper in games on a consistent basis. He's set up better right now than Hjerpe, Roby and Hence.

He had 9 walks over 7.2 IP in his previous 2 starts before his last start, so I’d say no.

The last time he went back to back non-rehab starts with 2 or less walks was August 17 and 23rd of last year in AA.

Doesn't bother me, minor league umps are notoriously bad.

His last 2 starts have definitely been better. In the “other” 5 starts of that 7 starts group opponents had a .375 OBP against him because of the 18 walks in 21 IP. I wouldn’t put it on the umps. He clearly wasn’t right, but he’s getting better. His velo is still down below where he was last year.
