And for everyone saying he could be a great LF or 3B with Wetherholt incoming, that bat doesn't play in either spot. It's time to raise standards around here. A major overhaul is in order. I hope Bloom is up to it. And BDW Jr.
As compared to a season long slump? Donny or Scott, who you got?

One bats 9th and is in there for his defense and speed.

The other has batted 1st or 3rd this year and is in there for his bat.

The latter has quietly been a big part of the reason for the team slumping over the last 1.5 months. Donovan has gone from career best year to career worst year in short time.

Didn’t PH for Scott either in same situation in 5th

It’s like Oli is trying to lose on purpose

There are just so many empty at bats up and down this lineup. Very frustrating to watch.

The Cardinals are so fat and slow on the bases they never can score from second on a base hit …. Half the roster can’t run…… Mo sure loves unathletic players

And once again a rally is thwarted. No speed in lead runner, a strikeout and weak contact.

Oli gets blasted when he does PH for those guys because he's not giving them experience. There is no winning on Cards Talk.

That single by Winn with runner on 2nd shows one of team ‘s big problems .

Instead of scoring a run, Burly had to be given stop sign by Pops Warner.
A faster runner most likely scores.

Too many starters on this team can’t score from 2nd on a variety of singles.
Just too slow !

Brewers team scores a run on that same hit ball by Winn 95% of the time.

Leahy strikes out the side and keeps us just one run back.
