33 K Hernandez, Stewart
32 Betts, T Hernandez, Snell, Conforto
31 Banda, Glasnow, Gonsolin
30 Ohtani, Scott, Phillips, Call, Smith, Edman

They will have to get out the checkbook soon and buy the best players from other teams again.
Gotta wonder which of these contracts are ending. They can't just keep printing money in L.A., can they?

The back end has to catch up sometime but not for a while. They know what they are doing.

I think Burleson is a better hitter this year, and it's only 4 games in the month of August, but this is very similar to last August. Lot of time to erase that image from my brain.

2 singles in 4 games.

kick start it, Burley.

Noot loves looking for walks so much that he takes 99 down central.

Enough of this dude. He took strike 3 and 4.

He is terribly out of shape and his bat slows

He was horrible last 2 months in 2024

Unfortunately (or not?) they actually do have almost unlimited $ to spend. They likely won't stop spending any time soon.

His first full year was last year. Just like Winn. 162 wore them out. They are much more conditioned this year. Better hitters now.. Burly is a good hitter and not as bad defensively as people want to say.

Well one thing for sure sure. There isn’t one player worth bringing back. Of course they will all be back. I love when people want to see the kids play. Wow.

yep.

I pray for a Ceiling and Floor Cap to the Salary structure with the New CBA. With serious consequences...not a Tax that the biggest markets are more than willing to pay. Forfeiture of their season...you break the Cap or Floor, you don't play.

he's never going to be good defensively. He's closer to average this year. Horrible in the OF. His bat needs to improve by a lot to justify an OF spot on a regular basis. Thankfully, for him, the rest of the team sucks offensively, save Ivan, Con, and Winn...so his weaknesses get overlooked.

On a good team, he's a PH bat. Platoon vs. some RHP.

Lots of talent on this team. They need some power bats and pitching. One game under .500 but the front office has to acquire stars. Silly to say that this team has no talent. We are in August and 1 game under .500.
