I never said he was great. I argued he wasn’t a bad signing which he wasn’t. He’s far from the problem.slimjay63801 wrote: ↑30 Jul 2025 21:09 pmYou said it all my friend!stlboiler23 wrote: ↑30 Jul 2025 21:07 pmWho said great? He’s still one of our best players![]()

Ehh. He's not much of a solution.. Above average career at best. If he's your best, you have problems..stlboiler23 wrote: ↑30 Jul 2025 21:10 pmI never said he was great. Walker loves watching fastballs down the middle.

How in the F can we have multiple players looking at strike 3 all the time? Just pathetic. A pathetic effort.

Only 2 months left of this mess. Hope Mr. Bloom has a plan.

Unless I misheard Chip, I believe he said “that pitch was awesome.” Umm… 97 mph isn’t what I’d call awesome. Most major leaguers would be able to at least foul it off.

I'm not sure. Heck, according to some, Contreras is the answer.

I don't think anyone would disagree with that.ShakeyWalton wrote: ↑30 Jul 2025 21:17 pm How in the F can we have multiple players looking at strike 3 all the time? Just pathetic. A pathetic effort.

Good news for John Mozeliak. He won't have to spend all day on the phone tomorrow. No one is going to be calling.

Good evening guys!
Re: GDT : Cards vs. Marlins (7/30) ~ 6:45pm CDT
How many guys have to look at strike 3? Protect, fight it off if nothing else. So many opportunities to get some runs and get shut out again at home. They'll go to the Padres-Dodgers and come home 4-5 below .500.
