I know he’s a very good catcher but at the plate he’s a bum!

Yep. Starting pitching is the heart of a winning team. Ours leaves a lot to be desired.

...4th inning Cards baseball at its best...! Get 'em on, move 'em over, score them...and still only 1 out...

...and Darvish is gone after 3 2/3 innings... very short outing for him... BP gotta cover 4 1/3 innings minimum, and maybe more...

Playing catch is different as the pitcher just soft tosses the ball ..sometimes even standing a few feet in front of the rubber.
Warming up is making actual pitches .
