I truly wonder if you all know baseball at times

Bunting should be easy, but you'd never know it the way our guys do it. You have to practice it a bit but there is really not much to it, especially when you are just trying to get the ball in play.

How many were unsuccessful? Were these bunts or sacrifices? Do they keep numbers for bunting explicitly? I'd love to see it...

They practice hitting, not necessarily bunting. Argo should work heavily on learning to bunt. But bunting is a loser move statistically when looking at run expectancy.

When you're in a funk like the Cards, scoring a run can make a difference, and bunting can mean the difference in a close game, such as 1-0.
