Yes he did.Clubmaker2 wrote: ↑19 Jun 2025 14:20 pm Steve Stone giving a simple explanation as to how WC messed that up and should have had it much more easily.
My all time favorite color man. Intelligent about baseball and doesn't fall into homerism.Clubmaker2 wrote: ↑19 Jun 2025 14:20 pm Steve Stone giving a simple explanation as to how WC messed that up and should have had it much more easily.

Good questioon .. Usually though , if it's a pitch in the strike zone the batter is going to swing as he has 2 strikes on him .. So a whiff still makes it a bit tougher on the throw down but Walker just took the pitch making it easier for the catcher to make his throw to 2nd.
That probably irked Oli the most .. that Walker did not swing at that obvious ball down the middle.
Have always liked his analysis even when he was with the scrubs. Knows his stuff and is night and day better than Brad Thompson.Clubmaker2 wrote: ↑19 Jun 2025 14:20 pm Steve Stone giving a simple explanation as to how WC messed that up and should have had it much more easily.

Harry at his best when a foul ball would come back at them
he and Ron Darling are two former MLB pitchers that can really analyze succinctly.Mort Gage wrote: ↑19 Jun 2025 14:23 pmMy all time favorite color man. Did not hear Stone's analysis but my first thought was .. why didn't he move off the bag , catch it and try to get his foot back on . Runner was not close to 1st . Sometimes the 1st baseman does not need to keep one foot glued to the bag receiving throws off line. Catching it first is priority No. 1stlboiler23 wrote: ↑19 Jun 2025 14:23 pmHave always liked his analysis even when he was with the scrubs.
