Peoria bullpen can't hang on. Kernals score 6 runs off the bull pen....walk it off in the 10th. Walks kill, and the Kernals made the BP pay.

4-1 day down on the Farm... the DSL squad with another win, the offense is working down on the island...the pitching is a bit suspect...pretty darn raw. That's par for the course with the DSL.

FCL game was suspended in the 4th inning....will resume on June 13th

I bounced around the games for an hour or so after trivia last night.

The second Baez HR was a monster. High, moonshot and Out of the Park!

Meanwhile in Peoria Showalter was unimpressive. He was nibbling, not trusting his stuff. No hits but walked two, double steal and a sacrifice fly allowed the tying run in the 8th. It was discouraging.

I don't understand why Chase Davis is hitting cleanup for Springfield?

Another good day for Baez. Keep stacking them up.

I am stunned by Joshua Baez’s turn around. He’s still only 21 and at 6’3, 220 (not sure about height) and he can fly and clobber.

Could be a trajectory changing development for the team. We’ve got some legitimate talent in Springfield, making things really exciting.
