Shouldnt have used gracceffo after matz in game 1. Didnt have problem origonally using matz in game 1 though it didnt work, but we needed one of the 2 available for long relief and shouldnt have used both.

But they did bring up the guy from Memphis they just sent down. He might be able to pitch as well as Sonny Boy today.

...thru 3 innings Gray actually pitching better than Nola. Gray with 4K's and Nola with 2. Cards 8 hits vs 6 for the Phils...

And Cards retake the lead off Nola with a HR by Winn. He's doing great at the #2 slot in the batting order...

Svanson hansnt started except a handful of games back in 2022. He hasnt been used as long reliever past couple years either really. Best you can hope fornis probably 2 innings from him. Leahy might be able to give you 2 as well. I guess that theoretically could get them to maton and helsley for the 8th and 9th. But i dont see pulling gray yet and we probably have to endure another inning
