Enough of Walker, he's a trainwreck.
Walker could use a "reset" at Memphis or Springfield. Bring Saggese back up to see if he can continue to hit, respectably, at the MLB level. Donovan and Barrero can cover in the outfield. Being in the race, they now need all the solid hitters in the lineup they can get.
I do like Saggese's potential bat...but...you do know he's hitting under .230 at Memphis this season, don't you?

And a nice at bat by Walker for the fly ball and RBI. He laid off low outside pitch twice. One step at a time.
Agreed. He needed that!

What were his numbers with the Cardinals earlier this season, Richard?

Nice. But as a corner outfielder, he needs to produce more power.

Doesn't matter...it was a few games and he was hot.
But he's not DiMaggio...now that he's in Memphis he needs to start hitting if he wants to be recalled. So far, he's not doing that, is he?
I'm rooting for him...we need him. And I think he will eventually hit. But he needs to do it.

if you're going to tell people you reported them for inappropriate things, you need to be a SHINING example going forward. ....calling people "Richard" to be clever about the word "Dikk"....that's pretty awful, Marshall.
Should we all report you? To live up to your standards of what's appropriate ?

So you're not happy with 3 RBI in the last two games?
As a first baseman, DH, and corner OF doesn't Burly need to produce more power?

Neither Walker nor Gorman are getting sent down. This is what the runway season is about. If the FO does a complete reversal in everything they've said since last October, then shame on them.
There's nothing to prove at AAA. You might as well enjoy them trying to figure it out in the bigs.
The cardinals have 4 runs with timely hitting including fly balls with runners on third. Walker hasn't killed anything today demoralized anybody today. They are picking him up.
To be fair, the "runway" statement was initially made before the org had a new TV contract and there was a lot of financial uncertainty. Since then, it's not to say the FO has softened on that stance, but they've clearly made moves (Maton being the most noticeable) that this year isn't ONLY about giving Walker, Gorman, and Burly enough slack to hang themselves with and the rest be d*mned.
Kinda funny that despite looking horrible in the majority of his ABs, Walker's got 3 rbi since last game. lol. He did the job on that sac fly. Maybe it's a start...

Doesn't bother me in the least...attorneys take a lot of verbal abuse. We learn to ignore it.

Repeatedly addressing a poster by his name like you and Frenchy do is a repulsive attempt to expose and degrade him. That needs to be reported. Ring a bell? Quit trying to continuously cause trouble. You are "pretty awful" in your own right, Guru.
