Each turn will take 694 days. Make it a keeper league?

I may or may not be able to make the draft. I have an obligation at 4. My vote would be for 30 seconds though. You should have an idea on who to take when it’s your turn.

Your obligation is the draft.
45 seconds is my vote.

That's fair. How will I know if I want to select a player until I see how he performs for the next 2 years?
"We're still trying to see what we have"
But my real answer is 30-45 seconds. Though I'm not sure I'll be able to make it, either, so feel free to put more weight on votes from guys actually showing up.
Why are people saying yes to a fantasy league with a live draft and then not going to draft?

Agreed, but we a have some who may not be that familiar with live draft mechanics, specifically with Yahoo.
If you can’t make the draft, you might want to take a little time to set your pre-draft rankings.
There’s also a Yahoo app with which you can draft… I’ve actually found I prefer that to desktop or tablet.

I’m not sure we could ever get 15 people all committed to be there live, w/o money on the line. Just sayin’

I did not see the time/date of the draft when I expressed interest and do not recall participation in the draft being stated as a requirement to join the league. Dedicating 3 hours in the middle of a Sunday afternoon will not sit well with my wife who considers Sunday family day for us and our three young children. If I was asked whether this time would work for me and I missed it, I do apologize.
If this is a problem, feel free to give my spot to someone else.
It’s not mandatory, but highly suggested. It definitely shouldn’t take 3 hours… doubtful it would, even if I left the clock at 1 minute.
We just hope that everyone remains active. If you make the draft, you’ll end up with a better team and be less likely to disappear.
If you can set aside an hour for the early rounds and duck out whenever you need to… there’s nothing wrong w/ that.

I have a long history of participation in yahoo fantasy leagues and this one will be no different. I have come to dislike the live draft part because I tend to let my biases about a certain player cloud my judgment. But I understand where you are coming from.
In any case, it would be the later part of the draft where I may have a conflict so I will try to be around for the early stages.
Interesting. In that case, do whatever works best for you. My experiences with auto-pick have been frustrating b/c I always end up with numerous players I’d never want.

Quincy's new team name is "Brainfart"
this is non-negotiable.
"Super-2" was also in consideration.
Against the rules. I’d have to remove myself from the league for such a flagrant violation.

Things come up. I don’t think a date and time was set when I agreed to join. If it was, I didn’t realize it conflicted with my schedule. I’ll set my pre-draft rankings.

Still like to shuffle papers. Lol
P.S. Maybe i am missing something but where can you rank your draft choices pre-draft on the site?
Have used Yahoo in past for drafts but doesn't look remotely like I recall.
P.S.S. Using on my phone..maybe I need to migrate to a laptop or desktop?
Try laptop/desktop. You can move players up/down your draft queue and specify certain players not to draft. It’s been a while since I’ve done it, but I think the default rankings are their ‘expert’ rankings which you can copy over.

Live drafts are my favorite part of the whole process.

HISTORY, BABY!
Does a potential exist to stagger it? Like 1 minute for the first 5 Rounds, 45 Seconds for the next 10 rounds, then some lighting rounds to wrap it?
I’m voting C. 30 seconds, for all of it btw.
Yes, but not predetermined beforehand. There is a way I can adjust the clock, mid-draft… but TBH, I’m not entirely sure how. Haven’t done this in several years, and I don’t believe it was an option back then. I also don’t know how well Yahoo will inform participants of the change, so I think *for now* we should arrive on a single time period.
