Seriously...why would we want to do that?

I've exhausted too much time on Jace...in this very thread with Shady the Troll...who then after 3 months of squawking "LaViolette" over and over again after everyone of my posts, decided to jump on my Seth Hernandez wagon, using some of my points about Hernandez.

I wish Jace the best of luck...where ever he's picked....I hope not #5.

edit ~ does he deserve to go 2nd round? Probably not, but players were falling out of the 1st round last year for much less.
Guru's insecurity has "reared it's ugly head" again. There is no reason for you mentioning me in this post. And you never knew any more about Hernandez than I did. The same with Roby. Get over yourself.

Unless there's substantial savings here, you can probably go with a player who has less holes in his game. There's just better guys who are more likely to hit their ceiling to bet on.

Maybe they were there just to tell both teams in person not to draft him because they're saving themselves for the Cardinals.

I just hate the idea of taking a nothing special high school short stop (either one) just to save a little money. I could see it if they had super high potential but they don't, they just project to be ok players. Id much rather take a pitcher or a college bat that will actually help the organization.

The concept of it has some merit. Although, I question how much saving is going to be had on any of the high school shortstops. Don't really see Willits or Carlson falling very far beyond the Cardinals' pick, so the savings probably aren't there. If I thought Ike Irish was a lock to stick behind the plate, I could certainly understand the merit of grabbing him if it came with savings.

Craviduce is a respected poster who adds tremendous value to the board. You alienate most people with your back and forth with your sock handles and drooling obsessiveness over Burleson, Saggese, and Roby. It's that simple.

But in your delusions you are the only rational one and the problem is with everyone else. If you tried discussing baseball respectfully you would find people treating you with respect in return. But these words will go in one ear and out the other and you will resume being a royal PIA.
