I didn't look up the exact quote, but in a post-game interview Ducky said it wasn't the commissioner's ejection which surprised him, but that the Tigers fans brought all that stuff to the ballpark to begin with. Depression-era baseball was awesome.
I remember a quote from one of the players that said it was like someone had backed a produce truck up to the stadium.
