I don’t know I think it might be more valuable to keep him. I get what you’re saying and certainly wouldn’t be opposed to it but I think all a team would want to give up is a lottery prospect which I think pallante is more valuable to the team than than only getting that kind of return

He won't be a FA until '29. Arb eligible next year but he won't be making huge bucks, I think they should keep him. I am so pleased that he has surprised me with the command and quality pitching he has achieved this season. I agree that what other teams would offer for him would not be sufficient.

You're probably right. They have a few more years of control. But if a team with prospects came knocking, I'm opening the door and letting them in.

I think walks are a huge thing with him. When he is bad, walks are a big part of it. He’s cut them down this year. Pleasant surprise
