Ivan has really improved defensively. His arm is still not great, but not as terrible as it was before the surgery.... You don't wince when he is catching anymore....

He’s our number five. I’ll take what I can get. 4-1 thru 3 is a great start.

Pallante escapes again.
When he keeps the ball down he’s ok.
Might want to stop pitching to Alvarez???
at least stop the meatballs, center cut, with no movement

I think I'd be okay with it if Walker could match what Yordan's done in his career.
That would be excellent. Walker is a better runner and fielder and has a better arm. Just has to establish that he is the real thing with the bat.
Only true potential 5-tool player I can remember the Cards having since, what, Beltran? I know TO was projected as one but obviously couldn't hit for sh*t when it came to average.

They had a dry spell for producing all around position play. I have high hopes for Walker.

Pallante pitching well so far. He’s done better than I expected maybe they should replace lehay with dobbins and move lehay back to the pen. I say that because I think lehay would be a force out of the bullpen and just meh in the rotation

but 75 PC in just four innings

Walker extends his hitting streak as Altuve gets in the way.
that was the right fielders ball.

I don’t disagree neither are ideal for the rotation but I think dobbins can be better than either one so if you asked me which one he should replace I would say lehay because I think he could be a way better bullpen arm than pallante I think pallante can be the better 5th starter but just my opinion both are just 5
Inning pitchers
