Yep. Anyone defending Binny and knocking Hofers play of late needs to post less and watch more games.

Just a couple months ago Hofer was atrocious, along with the rest of the team, which has remained bottom in the league with a shockingly bad goal differential. He's been better. The team has not. Best not to overplay him, get him smoked vs good teams, and ruin his confidence again during these prime developmental years.

I get what you are saying but if this team wants to win, Hofer will have to play more. He's been great as of late. Another great save there!!

Hofer has been better than binnington.

It doesn't matter if every 3rd game regardless of who has started we've absolutely gone silent and disappeared.

Doesn't help that we're relying on a powerplay setup that we haven't changed for two seasons, while everyone else in the league is constantly changing and adapting.

I cant put my finger on it but they look like they are playing better as a 5 man unit. Zone entrys are better. Better effort. A lil more tenacity. I'm not sure what it is but they have a different vibe tonight. Same chitty results tho.

We had a good 2nd period during one of our shutouts recently.
Berggren with a very nice effort almost gave Fabbri a feed in front of the net for a goal. But our highest played players are not our highest performing players. They’ve been no better this game.
Come on one lucky goal and if it’s a one goal game, there will be a lot more hope. As usual I’ll stick this out to the end.

High Stick. If you were late to watching the game, it was a four minute high sticking penalty on Walker that gave our penalty kill the responsibility to hold the leadbut it didn’t happen. Otherwise a lot more even.
