2 periods and 11 shots? This is friggin nuts that this keeps happening. They should be getting 10 shots per period....every period.

I wonder if it's just a focus on defense first and foremost because they have been so poor in that area. It is certainly dismal in the production on the offensive side but if you allow too many goals a game it translates to more losing. I have no idea just spit balling.

They sure as F don't appear concerned with adding any additional shots at this point. Every offensive "possession" is over as quickly as it begins. Man do I loathe this version of the St. Louis Blues.

This game likely ends with a 4-3 OT winner by the Knights after they pull their goalie and tie it up.

I agree it's pretty dreadful to watch this style of play but they do have young guys (forwards mainly) that lack the experience at this level and maybe they are just trying to make it as simple as possible for them to develop under this defensive minded style. Again, just guessing as a fan of the Blues and hockey in general.

Speaking of "never hungry," a few possessions ago Sunny had a bead on a free puck along the boards deep in the Knights zone that he easily could have gotten to first, but as soon as he saw he'd be taking a hit he curled back and allowed the Knights player possession which ended in those golden scoring opps that hit the post.

Every team has rookies on it. The Blues just play a bad system. The dump and change just don't cut it. They can't be focusing on defense, they are terrible at it.
