I'll always appreciate ROR for the Cup but his final half-season here really soured me. He was the worst player on the ice the majority of the time. When you're that far from your usual self, you either don't care or you're hurt. Whatever it was, he shouldn't have been on the ice. All he did was assure himself of a TDL exit and the belief that his high-effort grinding style had put enough mileage on him that an extension would be disastrous for STL.

Maybe a headcase idk but a lot of unexpected negatives when including the infamous drama with Tarasenko.

If it convinces him to start shooting the puck more. You see the slow-mo replay of his first goal? He literally didn't even look at the net the final 30+ feet. Pure luck to score the 1st goal--and don't get me wrong, a sweet backhand as well. Problem is his refusal to shoot first is a microcosm of the offense's problem. They all start shooting more, fans stop being so irrationally obsessed. lol
