I remember how the 'in the know' posters here and at RMN and TB poo poohed Underwood - I believe he even interviewed. Give Underwood and IL credit - they have gone outside the box of conventional thinking with these Euro Pro's - they are a solid E8 team IMHO. I think IL may be setting a new trend in this whore-like era of NIL & Portal.

Theses are the same people that believed Burns was going to be a monster this year, were high on Boateng, that Crews was a difference maker, and can't wait for Pierce to get back so his poor 3 PT shooting and 4 ppg will make us so much better. Year four, we're back to year two.

Are we potentially one of the worst group of 5 teams in the country?

We’re not that bad. But we don’t have the talent to stay with teams like this. Maybe if everyone were healthy it would be different. But right now this team won’t beat final 4 caliber teams and the Illini are that talented.

Won't beat final 4 teams... hell, we can't beat bottom of the conference teams like ND- you know, the same ND team that lost at home to Purdue FORT WAYNE. NOT Purdue Boilermakers... Purdue [redacted] Fort Wayne. It's not an NIL problem- it's a coaching problem. He can't identify talent, so he has no clue how to assemble a roster- when he gets a good recruit, he can't do anything with them to lift them up.

Dennis is a master con artist- he sold DRF a winning season with a bunch of misfit toys, and somehow secured a ridiculous contract to insure we wouldn't fire him for his team's lack of success going forward. He's the guy who inherits the keys to a Lamborghini, and doesn't know how to drive a manual transmission car. He needs an automatic Pinto to cruise around in, because that's his acumen. No clue whatsoever on how to coach a basketball team.

But apparently his wife got along real well with DRF - girls bonded. That sealed the deal I hear and was sold as a '2 for 1' Incredible. The simps at PD, RMN, and PM were all over it. Go woke, go broke.
