This reminds me of back when the ref wings were good and the refs used to suckle thier nuts.

This is a perfect example of how officiating impacts a game. bull[shirt] blues “roughing more” penalty leads to a goal against. Then, because the ref wings don’t play by the same rules, a high stick goes uncalled and the ref wings score two when the blues should have been on the power play. The refs will come out hard in the third. Hope the blues are ready.

I never saw a true side-angle shot. You can't make an accurate assessment with a stick in the foreground and goal in background. I don't know of it's parallax or what the effect is called but foreground images are larger than they appear.

That being said, very odd there wasn't a war room review (or whatever they're calling it these days).

Yeah the camera would have to be exactly the height of the crossbar, and it's almost certainly not. The evidence has to be definitive to overturn the call and I think it was close enough that it would never have been overturned.
