So if I play that out the Blues left wing side is

Neighbours
Holloway
Bolduc
Joseph
Walker
Texier

Thats pretty light for a team trying to make the playoffs
Buchnevich makes it worse if you subtract Bolduc. Newsflash: Bolduc 4 goals - Buchnevich 0

(Not to mention the 7+ million in savings they could use for a rental or two at the TDL)
NEWSFLSH Buch has an NTC
Yeah real smart
Smarter than you.
Not sure…im sure I’m smarter than you though

To the OP:

Buchnevich is 12th in Blues history in points-per-game, minimum 100 games played.

That's better than Tank, ROR, Unger (!), Weight and The Thomas.

Tell them guys, they're the ones talking about trades.

I'm just saying it was stupid to extend (and not trade) him with capable wingers in the pipeline.

I don’t care if he scores 50. I can’t stand him.

I can’t stand his mannerisms, his body language, the way he plays, the way he floats, the way he disappears when the team needs him… he’s not a fit for the culture of this organization. Same reason New York couldn’t wait to get rid of him. He spiked out of spite after that trade and then drifted back into loser mode.

I don’t like the guy.

I can’t remember a blues player that has frustrated me more. He is just a dumb player and I hate that

Got it. He used to be good.
It really does seem that way. I was hoping he could regain his form from a few years now that the center experiment is over. That’s not looking like a good bet now.

Buch wasn’t the problem tonight. You had a RW so afraid of getting hit that he was throwing wild passes all over the place, mostly from deep in the offensive end to his own goal line. And that’s when he wasn’t turning pucks over at the blue line. And Schenn is a 3rd line LW, adjust accordingly.

Buchy is a really good player. He has haters because all of the good players get haters from trolls or perfectionist fans. It's no different than Kyrou, it's no different than Faulk, it's no different than Parayko. This board and the fan base will light players up after they receive a contract just out of some sort of jealousy or something I'm not sure. It would be interesting to see the posters on here hating Buchy and run a comparison to 3 years ago when people would say Parayko is soft and not deserving of his 6.5m contract. It's legitimately insane. I can still remember working out to Rivers on the radio saying "who the heck are you going to get better than Parayko for 6.5m. As soon as you trade him you are looking for the next Parayko.

Same goes for Buch. At his salary, and his play, who the heck are you going to find at that cost? The locker room loves him. Rangers fans still bring it up as one of the biggest mistakes their franchise has made. Anyways, haters going to hate.

It’s never a good time when most of the Blues highest paid players are ineffective against teams like Chicago and Utah….

These aren’t even Winnipeg, Colorado or Minnesota.

They are making fools of themselves on home ice.

A lot of the Army moves of the offseason are starting to stink.

How in the heck do Thomas, Kyrou, Holloway, Schenn and Buchnevich only have a goal a piece?

Has Hofer just lost his mojo?

The only guys who seem to have a consistent performance on the team are 50, 55 and 17.

Beyond that….I am not sure the Blues can compete with the young, fast teams. Their goals against on home ice is atrocious.

Special teams have looked pretty bad overall.

Things need to change fast.

Very well stated, especially the boldface.

And you should have listed Krug and Don Denkinger!

It’s scary that we have a veteran problem. I consider Hofer a veteran. I wonder how good Snuggs would be if he were reunited with Cooley?
