It’s Pujols and it’s really not close.
Though not as crazy as game 6 of the 2011 WS, it my first taste of the cards looking like absolute toast, then winning.
Two outs, bottom of the ninth, down by two, no one on base and facing arguably the NL’s top closer. And on the road.
Top 5 HRs for me:
1. Pujols/Lidge
2. We will see you tomorrow night!
3. Go Crazy Folks, Go Crazy!
4. McGwire's #62
5. Joe Carter's WS Walk-off (not a Cardinal, but I did see it in real-time).
My top 5:
1. Freese
2. AP and Lidge
3. Molina
4. Taguchi
5. Edmonds ‘04.
Pretty much my list except I had Rolen '04 in there and Edmonds '04 higher (certainly influenced by the fact i was at those two games). But all of those were in the 9th inning or extras so I can understand having them ahead of Rolen's, even if his was in a game 7.

Isn't it about time the Cardinals make some new playoff home run memories? I am tired of DeWitt making money by celebrating the past, without having a team that can compete for championships. I hope DeWitt allows Bloom to do his job!

I missed the Edmonds homer.
I was feeling nervous so I turned the game off late in the late innings and went to bed as a good luck charm. One of those wake up early the next morning and nonchalantly turn on espn news with quiet hope to see a win…I kicked myself for missing that lol.

Of the two, Pujols. That crowd in Houston went dead silent and (bleep) their Wranglers.

Yea. That moment was worth the eventual loss. Bass still tracking that ball.

You left off Molina, Edmonds, and Freese, just off the top of my head.

Yea, Freese was a brain freeze. As I listed I knew I’d leave a couple out. Thanx for the update.
