Unfortunately i think they believe oli is a high quality manager.
It’s bad players more than anything. No manager is winning with this roster. I’m pretty neutral on Oli. One thing that can be said is each of the last two years, the team has won more games than the run differential suggests they should have won. Some of that delta has to be credited towards the manager.
Hes benefitted from good bullpen performances. They win some close games. That creates the oddity.
Yes and much of the criticism of managers, in general, has to do with bullpen management. Oli has two years of success to suggest that is a strength of his
It probably is what he is better at than other aspects. If he is making those decisions. A lot of his moves are scripted.

We just finished a wasted year. With Oli at the helm we'll be guaranteed another one. When is opening day 2027?
