Would anyone be upset if the Cards replaced everyone in the lineup for 2026? Maybe you keep Donovan but who else would you be excited to watch next year?
Both need to play
Herrera
RH Bats- Contreras, Winn, Herrera
LH Bats- Donovan, Burleson, Wetherholt
I can live with Arenado at 3B if healthy. Their IF defense could be excellent.
I can live with Scott in CF hitting ninth.
Hopefully Crooks with either Pages or Pozo backing up.
Unload Noot and Gorman. Probably Walker also although he might survive being a RH bat.
Saggese a backup only. His defense however stinks.
Are you platooning Winn and Wetherholt? or trying to play JJ everyday somewhere?

Ok with Walker.
If he has an Option year left then you can go that route.
Herrera

Agree with all except walker I would probably keep him and start him in the minors and make him hit his way back but if you could get something good for him back and his value hasn’t completely cratered then yea trade him
Wetherholt 2B
Winn SS

I missed hearing who the Fox broadcast team is in tonight's game. All I say is they're taking no prisoners and absolutely
roasting the Cardinals!
Yeah, when you're down they like to pile on .

Gorman will probably homer leading off the ninth? LOL

shouldn't you PR for Gorman in the 9th? You can use Pozo or Pages at 1B if you must in a tie/extra inning game

Appreciate the attempt. Looking at the careers of all the guys mentioned. It appears they all had decent BAs early as full-time players and then bloomed into all-stars. Walker has left himself a lot of room for improvement.
and speaking of.....walk-off for Walker!
