I saw them all play. Have vague memories of Sportsman’s Park. I saw Stan in his restaurant and Lou at his store in Lambert. Both were quite the thrill. I hope to someday have the thrill of meeting Hampson. That would be a real thrill along the lines of the other 3. Moe must be pleased at what he is offering the youngsters of today in the way of Cardinal stars to meet. We just love how this organization is keeping up the tradition. Thanks, Bill.

The best gift they could have given. A passion that they cultaved in our youth, shared with us in the best times,
and has remained with us into our senior years. So to all the fathers who were responsible for us getting to see in person
the likes Musial, Brock and Gibby, and all the cardinal greats, thanks dad, we have enjoyed it.
Myself included. My Dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle were all big Cardinal fans. My Dad and I listened to Harry on kmox every night. My one Uncle was a Cub fan mostly so he could argue with the other two brothers.

That’s what Leonard always said. That and ”there are no guarantees ”.
