More details later, but here's what we know:

{virtual} drinks are on me!
Float trip on the Big Piney that day. Sorry to miss your party.
Been awhile but I've spent many a day on the Big Piney been on all of it from Mineral SPrings down to where it enters Ft. Wood. Good memories with friends, dad, uncle and cousin. I'll be in Missouri around Sept 20th, I may have to spend a day on it again.
I grew up south of Ft. Wood and went to school in Bloodland for 6 years and then finished at Plato.
There used to be a great campground/livery at Boiling Springs off 63 about 5 miles south of Licking. A nice couple owned it and we went 2-3 times for 3 nights, floating and fishing during the day.
They had a decent building with a little store and restaurant.
It all got wiped out in a flood in 2016 I believe.
Just through LIcking last weekend…..to and fro my little pad of paradise on MO/AR border
Been to Licking several times. Helped Tag Team Uniforms raise capital.
Lot of my relatives are from Licking, mom and dad both went to high school there. They had a little antique, misc type store on main street for many years, called Howards House. Before Tag team went in they had 2 Rawlings plants, I worked at both of them at one time or another. Played a lot of softball in Licking, chased a lot of wild and semi wild ladies.

Does anyone ever stay at the Motel with the pool at the stop light on 63? Been driving by it for 25yrs…..don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone there8O

Been waiting since 2014 for this party.
2016 for me.
There were massive red flags that Mo was not good at maximizing player value November 2014. Been pointing it out since.

I’m in if we can use Mo as a piñata. Over and over again.

Stan Morrison was running the TAG plant in Licking when I tried to help. He had been VP of sales and marketing for Rawlings.

I never had anything to do with TAG, my last time at Rawlings was around 83. That was my last factory job. Finished my accounting degree with Drury in 85. 87 I started working for a small part of USDA in Memphis, TN

Probably not many but I do know for family funerals some have stayed there. Then there's the one nighters hoping their spouse's don't find them. When it first opened (probably mid 70s) they a lot of business.

How about a hail and farewell party. Honor the past and welcome the new.
Hail and Farewell’s are exclusive to timing. Once the new guy gets in, and settled, a hail and farewell is appropriate. Time is its killer reference promp and serenade.
In our case you don’t hail a guy who’s been there for a year. That opportunity has passed.
Sorry, dawg. You honor and say goodbye to the retiring General and greet the incoming General.
Long standing tradition.
How about you throw a proMo party and see who comes.

Sure things have gotten stale and disappointing over the last number of years. Totally acknowledge that. But when an employee has been on board for 30 years, some of his successes should also be recognized. Sorry if you’re too caught up in your hate to recognize that.

Since I reside in Tenn. I could donate some Nashville Hot Chicken if needed. That would go good with the Bud at the party.
Let me know.

Since we’re on the booz topic and you’re in TN……are the Whiskey Distillers really going under due to the lack of consumption?
due to Orange bois tax increase
That’s cute. Tell me, what part of Tennessee whiskey distillation is subject to tariffs?
are you dense ?
