They aren't going to release him. The Cardinals do not pay players to go away. They'll keep running him out there every 5th day to showcase him for the big deadline blockbuster.

The highest bidder in the case of the Cardinals will be DFA. Nobody wants our trash and why should they? MO has played Pat Travers "Crash and Burn" on this franchise for the last several years.
