Tink looked good for 2 innings. He was being squeezed by blue behind the plate rather severely but also was not throwing strikes regularly either.
Then the grand slam and he had a bad night. Tink needs direction, a better plan and better execution but the stuff is undeniable.

Chen-Wei pitched four strong innings but again does not throw enough strikes. Started the 5th with a walk and a hit with one out and the reliever let them both in which muddied Chen-Wei's line a bit. Not a bad outing but more confidence to throw strikes would be a leap forward.

If Tink gave 5 walks and four hits and five K’s, he’s obviously effective wild. But 9 runners in 3 1/3 is three runners per inning. No one survives that, or even half of that.
